セルパント反乱は、Wheel of Heaven の文脈において、人類の起源の時点におけるエロヒム文明内部の大規模な分裂を指す — 技術的異論派が、アダム系統のプロトタイプに関する多数派政策に対立した出来事である。
The Serpentine Rebellion is the earlier framing for the faction of exiled creator-scientists, led by Lucifer, who defied Yahweh and the Elohim government on Earth. The rebellion's armed culmination — the war declared by the Elohim government against the Serpent — is now treated under Theomachy, and the full sequence of events (from Lucifer's defiance through the Tower of Babel to Sodom and Gomorrah) lives there.
The two terms remain useful in different registers: "Serpentine Rebellion" emphasizes the faction and its acts of defiance, while "Theomachy" emphasizes the cosmic war that those acts provoked.
