The hypothesis
An advanced human civilization, not a god.
Wheel of Heaven holds, as a working hypothesis, that the Elohim of the creation traditions were a small advanced human civilization from elsewhere, who designed life on Earth and left a record in the religious texts.
The scope
A project twenty-two thousand years in the making.
The work began around 21,810 BCE, at the start of the Age of Capricorn, when a small expedition arrived at a barren Earth. Twelve precessional ages have unfolded since. We are inside the twelfth.
The cosmic clock

Earth's axis traces a circle in the sky every 25,920 years — the precession of the equinoxes. Twelve constellations divide it into ages of about 2,160 years; the corpus reads the creation traditions across them.
The present age

The Age of Aquarius opened in the mid-twentieth century: the age in which what was contained is poured out, and humanity becomes able to evaluate its own origin.
