Oracles of judgment and a coming ruler from Bethlehem
Oracles of the eighth-century prophet Micah, a near-contemporary of Isaiah. The book combines pronouncements of judgment against Samaria and Jerusalem with the famous oracle of a coming ruler from Bethlehem and the call to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.

Yahweh’s word that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

萬民哪、你們都要聽．地和其上所有的、也都要側耳而聽．主耶和華從他的聖殿要見證你們的不是。
Hear, you peoples, all of you.
Listen, O earth, and all that is therein:
and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you,
the Lord from his holy temple.
3
看哪、耶和華出了他的居所、降臨步行地的高處．
For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place,
and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.
4
衆山在他以下必消化、諸谷必崩裂、如蠟化在火中、如水沖下山坡。
The mountains melt under him,
and the valleys split apart,
like wax before the fire,
like waters that are poured down a steep place.
5
這都因雅各的罪過、以色列家的罪惡．雅各的罪過在哪裏呢．豈不是在撒瑪利亞麼．猶大的邱壇在哪裏呢。豈不是在耶路撒冷麼．
“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob,
and for the sins of the house of Israel.
What is the disobedience of Jacob?
Isn’t it Samaria?
And what are the high places of Judah?
Aren’t they Jerusalem?

所以我必使撒瑪利亞變爲田野的亂堆、又作爲種葡萄之處．也必將他的石頭倒在谷中、露出根基來。
Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field,
like places for planting vineyards;
and I will pour down its stones into the valley,
and I will uncover its foundations.

他一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎。他所得的財物必被火燒、所有的偶像我必毀滅．因爲是從妓女雇價所聚來的、後必歸爲妓女的雇價。
All her idols will be beaten to pieces,
and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire,
and all her images I will destroy;
for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them,
and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.”

先知說、因此我必大聲哀號、赤腳露體而行．又要呼號如野狗、哀鳴如鴕鳥。
For this I will lament and wail;
I will go stripped and naked;
I will howl like the jackals,
and moan like the daughters of owls.
9
因爲撒瑪利亞的傷痕無法醫治、延及猶大和耶路撒冷我民的城門。
For her wounds are incurable;
for it has come even to Judah.
It reaches to the gate of my people,
even to Jerusalem.
10
不要在迦特報告這事、總不要哭泣．我在伯亞弗拉輥於灰塵之中。
Don’t tell it in Gath.
Don’t weep at all.
At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust.
11
沙斐的居民哪、你們要赤身蒙羞過去．撒南的居民不敢出來。伯以薛人的哀哭、使你們無處可站。
Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame.
The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out.
The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection.

瑪律的居民、心甚憂急、切望得好處、因爲災禍從耶和華那裏臨到耶路撒冷的城門。
For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good,
because evil has come down from Yahweh to the gate of Jerusalem.
13
拉吉的居民哪、要用快馬套車．錫安民〈民原文作女子〉的罪、由你而起．以色列人的罪過、在你那裏顯出。
Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish.
She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion;
For the transgressions of Israel were found in you.

猶大阿、你要將禮物送給摩利設迦特．亞革悉的衆族、必用詭詐待以色列諸王。
Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath.
The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.
15
瑪利沙的居民哪、我必使那奪取你的來到你這裏．以色列的尊貴人〈原文作榮耀〉必到亞杜蘭。
I will yet bring to you, inhabitant of Mareshah.
He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam.
16
猶大阿、要爲你所喜愛的兒女剪除你的頭髮、使頭光禿、要大大的光禿、如同禿鷹、因爲他們都被擄去離開你。
Shave your heads,
and cut off your hair for the children of your delight.
Enlarge your baldness like the vulture;
for they have gone into captivity from you!

禍哉、那些在牀上圖謀罪孽造作奸惡的．天一發亮、因手有能力、就行出來了。
Woe to those who devise iniquity
and work evil on their beds!
When the morning is light, they practice it,
because it is in the power of their hand.
2
他們貪圖田地就佔據．貪圖房屋便奪取．他們欺壓人、霸佔房屋和產業。
They covet fields, and seize them;
and houses, and take them away:
and they oppress a man and his house,
even a man and his heritage.
3
所以耶和華如此說、我籌畫災禍降與這族、這禍在你們的頸項上不能解脫、你們也不能昂首而行．因爲這時勢是惡的。
Therefore Yahweh says:
“Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster,
from which you will not remove your necks,
neither will you walk haughtily;
for it is an evil time.

到那日必有人向你們題起悲慘的哀歌、譏刺說、我們全然敗落了．耶和華將我們的分轉歸別人．何竟使這分離開我們．他將我們的田地分給悖逆的人。
In that day they will take up a parable against you,
and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying,
‘We are utterly ruined!
My people’s possession is divided up.
Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”

所以在耶和華的會中你必沒有人拈鬮拉準繩。
Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in Yahweh’s assembly.
6
他們〈或作假先知〉說、你們不可說豫言、不可向這些人說豫言、不住的羞辱我們。
“Don’t prophesy!”
They prophesy.
“Don’t prophesy about these things.
Disgrace won’t overtake us.”
7
雅各家阿、豈可說、耶和華的心不忍耐麼．〈或作心腸狹窄麼〉這些事是他所行的麼。我耶和華的言語、豈不是與行動正直的人有益麼。
Shall it be said, O house of Jacob:
“Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry?
Are these his doings?
Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

然而近來我的民興起如仇敵、從那些安然經過不願打仗之人身上剝去外衣．
But lately my people have risen up as an enemy.
You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
9
你們將我民中的婦人、從安樂家中趕出、又將我的榮耀從他們的小孩子盡行奪去。
You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses;
from their young children you take away my blessing forever.
10
你們起來去罷．這不是你們安息之所．因爲汚穢使人〈或作地〉毀滅、而且大大毀滅。
Arise, and depart!
For this is not your resting place,
because of uncleanness that destroys,
even with a grievous destruction.
11
若有人心存虛假、用謊言說、我要向你們豫言得清酒和濃酒．那人就必作這民的先知。
If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies:
“I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink”;
he would be the prophet of this people.
12
雅各家阿、我必要聚集你們、必要招聚以色列剩下的人、安置在一處、如波斯拉的羊、又如草塲上的羊羣．因爲人數衆多。就必大大喧嘩。
I will surely assemble, Jacob, all of you;
I will surely gather the remnant of Israel;
I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah,
as a flock in the middle of their pasture;
they will swarm with people.
13
開路的〈或作破城的〉在他們前面上去．他們直闖過城門、從城門出去．他們的王在前面行、耶和華引導他們。
He who breaks open the way goes up before them.
They break through the gate, and go out.
And their king passes on before them,
with Yahweh at their head.

我說、雅各的首領、以色列家的官長阿、你們要聽。你們不當知道公平麼。
I said,
“Please listen, you heads of Jacob,
and rulers of the house of Israel:
Isn’t it for you to know justice?
2
你們惡善好惡．從人身上剝皮、從人骨頭上剔肉．
You who hate the good,
and love the evil;
who tear off their skin,
and their flesh from off their bones;
3
喫我民的肉、剝他們的皮．打折他們的骨頭、分成塊子像要下鍋、又像釜中的肉。
who also eat the flesh of my people,
and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones,
and chop them in pieces, as for the pot,
and as meat within the cauldron.
4
到了遭災的時候、這些人必哀求耶和華、他卻不應允他們．那時他必照他們所行的惡事、向他們掩面。
Then they will cry to Yahweh,
but he will not answer them.
Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time,
because they made their deeds evil.”
5
論到使我民走差路的先知、他們牙齒有所嚼的、他們就呼喊說、平安了．凡不供給他們喫的、他們就豫備攻擊他．〈豫備攻擊他或作說必遭遇刀兵〉耶和華如此說、
Yahweh says concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:

你們必遭遇黑夜、以致不見異象．又必遭遇幽暗、以致不能占卜．日頭必向你們沉落、白晝變爲黑暗。
“Therefore night is over you, with no vision,
and it is dark to you, that you may not divine;
and the sun will go down on the prophets,
and the day will be black over them.
7
先見必抱愧、占卜的必蒙羞、都必摀着嘴唇、因爲 神不應允他們。
The seers shall be disappointed,
and the diviners confounded.
Yes, they shall all cover their lips;
for there is no answer from God.”
8
至於我、我藉耶和華的靈、滿有力量公平才能、可以向雅各說明他的過犯、向以色列指出他的罪惡。
But as for me, I am full of power by Yahweh’s Spirit,
and of judgment, and of might,
to declare to Jacob his disobedience,
and to Israel his sin.
9
雅各家的首領、以色列家的官長阿、當聽我的話．你們厭惡公平、在一切事上屈枉正直．
Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob,
and rulers of the house of Israel,
who abhor justice,
and pervert all equity.
10
以人血建立錫安、以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。
They build up Zion with blood,
and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11
首領爲賄賂行審判、祭司爲雇價施訓誨、先知爲銀錢行占卜．他們卻倚賴耶和華、說、耶和華不是在我們中間麼．災禍必不臨到我們。
Her leaders judge for bribes,
and her priests teach for a price,
and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money:
yet they lean on Yahweh, and say,
“Isn’t Yahweh among us?
No disaster will come on us.”

所以因你們的緣故、錫安必被耕種像一塊田、耶路撒冷必變爲亂堆、這殿的山必像叢林的高處。
Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field,
and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble,
and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.
1
末後的日子、耶和華殿的山必堅立、超乎諸山、高舉過於萬嶺．萬民都要流歸這山。
But in the latter days,
it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains,
and it will be exalted above the hills;
and peoples will stream to it.
2
必有許多國的民前往、說、來罷、我們登耶和華的山、奔雅各 神的殿．主必將他的道教訓我們、我們也要行他的路．因爲訓誨必出於錫安、耶和華的言語、必出於耶路撒冷。
Many nations will go and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh,
and to the house of the God of Jacob;
and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths.”
For the law will go out of Zion,
and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;

他必在多國的民中施行審判、爲遠方強盛的國斷定是非．他們要將刀打成犂頭、把槍打成鐮刀．這國不舉刀攻擊那國、他們也不再學習戰事。
and he will judge between many peoples,
and will decide concerning strong nations afar off.
They will beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
neither will they learn war any more.
4
人人都要坐在自己葡萄樹下和無花果樹下、無人驚嚇．這是萬軍之耶和華親口說的。
But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree;
and no one will make them afraid:
For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.
5
萬民各奉己神的名而行．我們卻永永遠遠奉耶和華我們 神的名而行。
Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods;
but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.
6
耶和華說、到那日我必聚集瘸腿的、招聚被趕出的和我所懲治的．
“In that day,” says Yahweh,
“I will assemble that which is lame,
and I will gather that which is driven away,
and that which I have afflicted;
7
我必使瘸腿的爲餘剩之民、使趕到遠方的爲強盛之民．耶和華要在錫安山作王治理他們、從今直到永遠。
and I will make that which was lame a remnant,
and that which was cast far off a strong nation:
and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”
8
你這羊羣的高臺、錫安城的山哪、〈城原文作女子〉從前的權柄、就是耶路撒冷民的國權、〈民原文作女子〉必歸與你。
You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion,
to you it will come,
yes, the former dominion will come,
the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

現在你爲何大聲哭號呢．疼痛抓住你彷彿產難的婦人．是因你中間沒有君王麼、你的謀士滅亡了麼。
Now why do you cry out aloud?
Is there no king in you?
Has your counselor perished,
that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?
10
錫安的民哪、〈民原文作女子〉你要疼痛劬勞彷彿產難的婦人．因爲你必從城裏出來、住在田野、到巴比倫去．在那裏要蒙解救、在那裏耶和華必救贖你脫離仇敵的手。
Be in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion,
like a woman in travail;
for now you will go out of the city,
and will dwell in the field,
and will come even to Babylon.
There you will be rescued.
There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11
現在有許多國的民聚集攻擊你、說、願錫安被玷汚、願我們親眼見他遭報。
Now many nations have assembled against you, that say,
“Let her be defiled,
and let our eye gloat over Zion.”
12
他們卻不知道耶和華的意念、也不明白他的籌畫．他聚集他們、好像把禾捆聚到禾塲一樣。
But they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh,
neither do they understand his counsel;
for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.
13
錫安的民哪、〈民原文作女子〉起來踹穀罷．我必使你的角成爲鐵、使你的蹄成爲銅。你必打碎多國的民．將他們的財獻與耶和華、將他們的貨獻與普天下的主。
Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion;
for I will make your horn iron,
and I will make your hoofs brass;
and you will beat in pieces many peoples:
and I will devote their gain to Yahweh,
and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

成羣的民哪、〈民原文作女子〉現在你要聚集成隊．因爲仇敵圍攻我們、要用杖擊打以色列審判者的臉。
Now you shall gather yourself in troops,
daughter of troops.
He has laid siege against us.
They will strike the judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek.
2
伯利恆以法他阿、你在猶大諸城中爲小、將來必有一位從你那裏出來、在以色列中爲我作掌權的．他的根源從亙古、從太初就有。
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
being small among the clans of Judah,
out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.

耶和華必將以色列人交付敵人、直等那生產的婦人生下子來．那時掌權者〈原文作他〉其餘的弟兄必歸到以色列人那裏。
Therefore he will abandon them until the time that she who is in labor gives birth.
Then the rest of his brothers will return to the children of Israel.
4
他必起來、倚靠耶和華的大能、並耶和華他 神之名的威嚴、牧養他的羊羣．他們要安然居住．因爲他必日見尊大、直到地極。
He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh,
in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God:
and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.
5
這位必作我們的平安。當亞述人進入我們的地境踐踏宮殿的時候、我們就立起七個牧者、八個首領攻擊他。
He will be our peace when Assyria invades our land,
and when he marches through our fortresses,
then we will raise against him seven shepherds,
and eight leaders of men.
6
他們必用刀劍毀壞亞述地和寧錄地的關口．亞述人進入我們的地境踐踏的時候、他必拯救我們。
They will rule the land of Assyria with the sword,
and the land of Nimrod in its gates.
He will deliver us from the Assyrian,
when he invades our land,
and when he marches within our border.
7
雅各餘剩的人必在多國的民中、如從耶和華那裏降下的露水、又如甘霖降在草上．不仗賴人力、也不等候世人之功。
The remnant of Jacob will be among many peoples,
like dew from Yahweh,
like showers on the grass,
that don’t wait for man,
nor wait for the sons of men.
8
雅各餘剩的人必在多國多民中、如林間百獸中的獅子、又如少壯獅子在羊羣中。他若經過就必踐踏撕裂、無人搭救。
The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations,
among many peoples,
like a lion among the animals of the forest,
like a young lion among the flocks of sheep;
who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces,
and there is no one to deliver.
9
願你的手舉起、高過敵人。願你的仇敵都被剪除。
Let your hand be lifted up above your adversaries,
and let all of your enemies be cut off.
10
耶和華說、到那日、我必從你中間剪除馬匹、毀壞車輛、
“It will happen in that day”, says Yahweh,
“that I will cut off your horses out from among you,
and will destroy your chariots.
11
也必從你國中除滅城邑、拆毀一切的保障、
I will cut off the cities of your land,
and will tear down all your strongholds.
12
又必除掉你手中的邪術．你那裏也不再有占卜的。
I will destroy witchcraft from your hand;
and you shall have no soothsayers.
13
我必從你中間除滅雕刻的偶像和柱像、你就不再跪拜自己手所造的。
I will cut off your engraved images and your pillars out from among you;
and you shall no more worship the work of your hands.
14
我必從你中間拔出木偶、又毀滅你的城邑。
I will uproot your Asherah poles out from among you;
and I will destroy your cities.
15
我也必在怒氣和忿怒中向那不聽從的列國施報。
I will execute vengeance in anger,
and wrath on the nations that didn’t listen.”

以色列人哪、當聽耶和華的話。要起來向山嶺爭辯、使岡陵聽你的話。
Listen now to what Yahweh says:
“Arise, plead your case before the mountains,
and let the hills hear what you have to say.
2
山嶺和地永久的根基阿、要聽耶和華爭辯的話。因爲耶和華要與他的百姓爭辯、與以色列爭論。
Hear, you mountains, Yahweh’s controversy,
and you enduring foundations of the earth;
for Yahweh has a controversy with his people,
and he will contend with Israel.

我的百姓阿、我向你作了甚麼呢。我在甚麼事上使你厭煩。你可以對我證明。
My people, what have I done to you?
How have I burdened you?
Answer me!
4
我曾將你從埃及地領出來、從作奴僕之家救贖你．我也差遣摩西、亞倫、和米利暗在你前面行。
For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt,
and redeemed you out of the house of bondage.
I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5
我的百姓阿、你們當追念摩押王巴勒所設的謀和比珥的兒子巴蘭回答他的話、並你們從什亭到吉甲所遇見的事、好使你們知道耶和華公義的作爲。
My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised,
and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal,
that you may know the righteous acts of Yahweh.”

我朝見耶和華、在至高 神面前跪拜、當獻上甚麼呢。豈可獻一歲的牛犢爲燔祭麼。
How shall I come before Yahweh,
and bow myself before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
7
耶和華豈喜悅千千的公羊、或是萬萬的油河麼。我豈可爲自己的罪過獻我的長子麼。爲心中的罪惡獻我身所生的麼。
Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams?
With tens of thousands of rivers of oil?
Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience?
The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

世人哪、耶和華已指示你何爲善。他向你所要的是甚麼呢。只要你行公義、好憐憫、存謙卑的心、與你的 神同行。
He has shown you, O man, what is good.
What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
9
耶和華向這城呼叫、智慧人必敬畏他的名．你們當聽是誰派定刑杖的懲罰。
Yahweh’s voice calls to the city,
and wisdom sees your name:
“Listen to the rod,
and he who appointed it.
10
惡人家中不仍有非義之財、和可惡的小升斗麼。
Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked,
and a short ephah that is accursed?
11
我若用不公道的天平和囊中詭詐的法碼、豈可算爲清潔呢。
Shall I be pure with dishonest scales,
and with a bag of deceitful weights?
12
城裏的富戶滿行強暴、其中的居民也說謊言、口中的舌頭是詭詐的。
Her rich men are full of violence,
her inhabitants speak lies,
and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.
13
因此、我擊打你、使你的傷痕甚重．使你因你的罪惡荒涼。
Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound.
I have made you desolate because of your sins.
14
你要喫、卻喫不飽．你的虛弱必顯在你中間．你必挪去、卻不得救護．所救護的、我必交給刀劍。
You shall eat, but not be satisfied.
Your humiliation will be within you.
You will store up, but not save;
and that which you save I will give up to the sword.
15
你必撒種、卻不得收割．踹橄欖、卻不得油抹身．踹葡萄、卻不得酒喝．
You will sow, but won’t reap.
You will tread the olives, but won’t anoint yourself with oil;
and crush grapes, but won’t drink the wine.
16
因爲你守暗利的惡規、行亞哈家一切所行的、順從他們的計謀．因此、我必使你荒涼、使你的居民令人嗤笑．你們也必擔當我民的羞辱。
For the statutes of Omri are kept,
and all the works of Ahab’s house.
You walk in their counsels,
that I may make you a ruin,
and her inhabitants a hissing;
And you will bear the reproach of my people.”

哀哉。我〈或指以色列〉好像夏天的果子已被收盡、又像摘了葡萄所剩下的．沒有一掛可喫的．我心羨慕初熟的無花果．
Misery is mine!
Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard:
There is no cluster of grapes to eat.
My soul desires to eat the early fig.
2
地上虔誠人滅盡、世間沒有正直人．各人埋伏要殺人流血．都用網羅獵取弟兄。
The godly man has perished out of the earth,
and there is no one upright among men.
They all lie in wait for blood;
every man hunts his brother with a net.
3
他們雙手作惡．君王徇情面、審判官要賄賂．位分大的吐出惡意．都彼此結聯行惡。
Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently.
The ruler and judge ask for a bribe;
and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul.
Thus they conspire together.
4
他們最好的、不過是蒺藜．最正直的、不過是荊棘籬笆。你守望者說降罰的日子已經來到．他們必擾亂不安。
The best of them is like a brier.
The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge.
The day of your watchmen,
even your visitation, has come;
now is the time of their confusion.

不要倚賴鄰舍．不要信靠密友．要守住你的口、不要向你懷中的妻題說。
Don’t trust in a neighbor.
Don’t put confidence in a friend.
With the woman lying in your embrace,
be careful of the words of your mouth!
6
因爲兒子藐視父親、女兒抗拒母親、媳婦抗拒婆婆．人的仇敵、就是自己家裏的人。
For the son dishonors the father,
the daughter rises up against her mother,
the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
7
至於我、我要仰望耶和華、要等候那救我的 神．我的 神必應允我。
But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me.
8
我的仇敵阿、不要向我誇耀．我雖跌倒、卻要起來．我雖坐在黑暗裏、耶和華卻作我的光。
Don’t rejoice against me, my enemy.
When I fall, I will arise.
When I sit in darkness, Yahweh will be a light to me.
9
我要忍受耶和華的惱怒．因我得罪了他．直等他爲我辨屈、爲我伸寃．他必領我到光明中、我必得見他的公義。
I will bear the indignation of Yahweh,
because I have sinned against him,
until he pleads my case, and executes judgment for me.
He will bring me out to the light.
I will see his righteousness.
10
那時我的仇敵、就是曾對我說耶和華你 神在那裏的、他一看見這事、就被羞愧遮蓋．我必親眼見他遭報．他必被踐踏、如同街上的泥土。
Then my enemy will see it,
and shame will cover her who said to me,
where is Yahweh your God?
Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame.
Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

以色列阿、日子必到、你的牆垣必重修．到那日你的境界必開展、〈或作命令必傳到遠方〉
A day to build your walls—
In that day, he will extend your boundary.
12
當那日、人必從亞述、從埃及的城邑、從埃及到大河、從這海到那海、從這山到那山、都歸到你這裏。
In that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
and from Egypt even to the River,
and from sea to sea,
and mountain to mountain.
13
然而、這地因居民的緣故、又因他們行事的結果、必然荒涼。
Yet the land will be desolate because of those who dwell therein,
for the fruit of their doings.
14
求耶和華在迦密山的樹林中、用你的杖牧放你獨居的民、就是你產業的羊羣。求你容他們在巴珊和基列得食物、像古時一樣。
Shepherd your people with your staff,
the flock of your heritage,
who dwell by themselves in a forest,
in the middle of fertile pasture land, let them feed;
in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

耶和華說、我要把奇事顯給他們看、好像出埃及地的時候一樣。
“As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them marvelous things.”
16
列國看見這事、就必爲自己的勢力慚愧．他們必用手摀口、掩耳不聽。
The nations will see and be ashamed of all their might.
They will lay their hand on their mouth.
Their ears will be deaf.
17
他們必餂土如蛇、又如土中腹行的物、戰戰兢兢的出他們的營寨．他們必戰懼投降耶和華、也必因我們的 神而懼怕。
They will lick the dust like a serpent.
Like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their dens.
They will come with fear to Yahweh our God,
and will be afraid because of you.
18
神阿、有何神像你、赦免罪孽、饒恕你產業之餘民的罪過．不永遠懷怒、喜愛施恩。
Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity,
and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage?
He doesn’t retain his anger forever,
because he delights in loving kindness.
19
必再憐憫我們、將我們的罪孽踏在腳下、又將我們的一切罪投於深海。
He will again have compassion on us.
He will tread our iniquities under foot;
and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
20
你必按古時起誓應許我們列祖的話、向雅各發誠實、向亞伯拉罕施慈愛。
You will give truth to Jacob,
and mercy to Abraham,
as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
