Mark 16 — the Resurrection narrative + the longer-ending textual-critical site
Mark 16 from the earliest substantial Koine Greek manuscript witnesses (Codex Vaticanus + Codex Sinaiticus + cross-collation against P45). The longer-ending Mark 16:9-20 is ABSENT in Vaticanus + Sinaiticus + P45 — the consensus modern critical-text view is that it is a 2nd-century scribal addition appended to harmonize Mark with the other Gospels. The chapter is preserved here per the established WoH-Translation conventions, with the textual-critical dispute documented in the apparatus.

John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins.

Later he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had been raised.

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.
And passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishers.

The Markan neaniskos (young man) sitting at the right side of the tomb in a white robe is notably NOT identified as an angel (contrast Mt 28:2 angelos kyriou; Lk 24:4 andres dyo en esthēti astraptousē). The Markan ambiguity is widely-treated as deliberate (Marcus AB 2009; Collins Hermeneia 2007). Cross-reference to Mk 14:51-52 (the neaniskos fleeing naked at Gethsemane) has produced an extensive literary-critical discussion of the figure as a Markan-signature literary device (Croy 2003; Magness 1986); the figure is preserved in its Markan-distinctive ambiguity rather than harmonized to the Mt/Lk angelic-figure tradition.
