The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge

Jeremy Narby's 1998 work proposing that cross-cultural intertwined-serpent imagery (the caduceus, Ningishzida's staff) encodes ancestral knowledge of the DNA double helix. The corpus registers the DNA-iconography hypothesis as suggestive but not load-bearing for its reading of the Eden Serpent.
